Lula and Lenka are best friends but total opposites—Lula is a Dog Person, Lenka is a Cat Person; Lula is messy, while Lenka is neat and tidy. Lula loves to talk to people, and Lenka prefers to observe. Despite their differences, they make the perfect pair.
But one day, everything changes. The Day Everything Goes Wrong leaves Lula and Lenka sitting on opposite sides of the classroom, no longer speaking to each other. As the days pass, Lula makes a new friend who talks just as much as she does, while Lenka quietly plays alone. Even though they both feel lonely, neither is willing to listen, forgive, or say sorry.
This thoughtful story explores the ups and downs of friendship, teaching the importance of listening, understanding, and keeping an open mind in times of conflict. Will Lula and Lenka find their way back to each other?
