Marnie Blue is thriving at Lady Sealia Foam's Mermaid School, where she's bonded with Pearl and Orla. Now, the Clamshell Show is approaching, and Marnie and Orla are competing for the lead role while Pearl (who's not the best singer) sticks to her rock tuba. But when a new mermaid is cast and proves to be more troublesome than a tiger shark with a toothache during rehearsals, the show's future is uncertain. And to make matters worse, the unwelcome visitor at Mermaid Lagoon isn't helping. Will the show go on?
